If there is a single key element in the success of Network Engineering, it is in our ability to effectively and efficiently manage the implementation of a project. Our philosophy is straight forward - select the most qualified, experienced personnel for the task at hand and establish a comprehensive communication structure between the client, the field installation team and our Corporate support staff.
Successful project implementation is accomplished by first assembling the complete project team. This team will consist of the Project Manager, Project Administrators and Field Technicians.
The team shall remain constant throughout the course of the project. This way, each individual becomes familiar with the technical aspects of the project, as well as the clients specific policies and procedures. In addition, the customers’ Project Coordinator has a clear migration path to communicate project modifications. There is never a question of who the client should contact when voicing project installation concerns.
The Project Administrator is the person assigned to support the project from the Corporate Office. He/She is tasked with aiding the on-site Project Manager in the coordination of manpower, material resources, technical support and contractual alterations to the project. The Project Administrator also serves as the focal point for the client in the event that the contractual or technical aspects must be discussed. As a rule, The Project Administrator is involved with the project from the very beginning and has played an integral part in the bid proposal strategy and pricing structure. At his/her disposal, is the Corporate support staff of Network Consultants. This structure insures the customer of accurate and prompt responses to any installations inquiries.
The Project Administrator receives daily updates as to the status of the project by the Project Manager and in turn, updates the project file and the Active Project Board (APB). The APB is displayed in the office and lists all active projects currently in progress. Pertinent information such as the Project Manager assigned to the project, the phone numbers where he can be contacted during and after working hours, the clients name, address and phone numbers are listed. Also, an update of the project showing expected completion dates and any other relevant information is displayed.
